Account Executive

Job Description:

 

Seed Technology is enabling and elevating the in-store experience for cannabis dispensaries. We power digital signage, POS integrated product menus, kiosks, tablets, and other in-store technology for 900+ dispensaries nationwide, helping operators automate in-store marketing, increase basket size, and run more efficient and profitable stores. We’re looking for an Account Executive to help us win and expand high-value accounts across the U.S. This is not a “take inbound demos” role. This is a full-cycle sales role for someone who knows how to create opportunities, run a tight process, and close.

What you'll do:

  • Run the full sales cycle: prospect → demo → close
  • Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound efforts
  • Give tailored demos that clearly tie Seed to revenue and operational impact
  • Sell into dispensary operators, regional groups, and MSOs
  • Multi-thread deals across marketing, operations, IT and ownership
  • Close both single-store deals and multi-location rollouts
  • Expand accounts post-sale in partnership with Customer Success
  • Work directly with leadership on strategy, messaging, and GTM execution

Our prospects are actively struggling with:

  • Outdated or manual menu management
  • Non-optimized or underperforming in-store merchandising
  • Lost revenue after customers walk in
  • Difficultly implementing an in-store marketing strategy.

Who you are:

  • 2–6+ years of sales experience (SaaS, retail tech, or similar preferred)
  • Creative thinker, critical thinker, self motivated
  • Proven ability to source your own pipeline
  • Strong discovery and demo skills — you can unearth the necessary information to tie product to business outcomes
  • Comfortable selling to both single-location owners and corporate executive teams
  • High urgency and accountability
  • Clear, direct communicator

Cannabis experience is NOT required We care more about sales execution than Cannabis industry background.
